Budaka Women Vendors Association
Budaka Women Vendors Association was formed in 2018 to provide financing and networking opportunities to women vendors in the District of Budaka in Eastern District part of Uganda. The Association was established because in Budaka District in particular and Uganda in general, women vendors are usually silenced, ignored and undervalued and are still excluded from the decisions that affect them, their families and communities and yet they play a key role in transforming communities. The Association supports, promotes, empowers and recognizes Women Vendors in the District.
